It’s 20 minutes right off interstate 65. The Apple Maps leads you straight to the house but please note, the last mile is a dirt road. It’s very close to the public boat launch and plenty of space to tie up your boat at the house. If you bring a boat trailer, please note you must be experienced in backing up a trailer! There is not a good turn around spot if you pass the house and we recommend backing the boat trailer down the driveway which can be tight but doable.

Parking: Parking is available to the right of the tiny home and there is additional parking at the marinas parking lot just across from the home. There is easy access entry and exit. We're always happy to help. RICE FIELDS Our villa is surrounded by rice field. We're also tucked and hidden in a small Balinese village, away from the tourist quarters of Ubud and Sanur. Here's a few important things that you will need to know about the area: The rice paddy is alive and breathing. It goes through different cycles where the landscape around you will change colours depending on the season. At the early stage of its cycle, the landscape will be filled of muddy earth and you will see farmers ploughing the fields, often hemmed by dozens of white herons flying around. Once all the land has been ploughed, paddy is planted, and water is streamed to the field. This is when the loft will look like it's surrounded by body of water. Then the paddy starts to grow, and with its growth, come different colours. At the early stage of its growth, you will see bright green, then as it matures, the landscape will turn to golden, and then eventually dark brown. The whole cycle usually lasts 3-4 months. So when you're staying at our loft, the view that you will see from your suite will change depending on the season. - SMOKE & FIRE Following the harvest, the farmers clear the fields to prepare them for a new cycle. This is when the straws were burnt, and the smoke rises. The burning usually lasts for 2-3 hours and depending on where the wind may blow, this might cause inconvenience for the dwellers of our loft. This is however, a part of the reality in living so close to the nature. - INSECTS AND THEIR ALLIES

Open living area with large lakeside windows leading out to the covered deck enhance the beautiful view of the lake. Four spacious bedrooms, two with queen beds and two with king including a master suite with a separate bathroom and a door out to the deck. The loft above the living area has two full size fold out futon sofas for additional sleeping and the living area has one. Linens and kitchen equipment are provided. WiFi is available and there are three TV's - one in the master suite, one in the living area and a third that can be moved from the guest king out to the covered porch - perfect for game days. This property is within walking distance to Gold Star Park and all the amenities of historic downtown Wetumpka. It has a very nice tile shower. It has a large bedroom (Queen).
